Here’s a few examples of kinetic type I’ve made for fun. The plan is that this section will grow the more I work with type so watch this space!
The first two (above and below) use a technique with the Time Displace effect in After Effects. This effect essentially makes straight lines bendy.
The new year’s video uses a multitude of techniques that I’ve been absorbing so far while working in industry.
These experiments are great for developing my practice and hopefully if a brief presents itself needing some of these techniques, I’ll have a head start in understanding how to meet the challenge.
